4,300 runners sign up for Vietnam Trail Marathon

 Marathon 
 Markus Gnirck claimed victory with a time of 04:27:28. Coming in second was Aleksandr Firsov (04:49:48). Rounding out the top three was Liam Shay Fitzpatrick with a time of 05:03:09. 
 For the women,  it was Vanja Cnops who took the top spot in 04:56:37 . Joane Etienne earned runner-up honours with a time of 05:15:06. The third place went to Lèo Thị Tình with a time of 05:17:31

 Ultra marathon 
 Quang Trần outpaced more then 145 runners to win in 07:06:56. Coming in second was Trọng Nhơn Đỗ (07:51:07). The third place went to Koichi Hirose with a time of 08:25:48 
 In the ladies race,  Đường Nguyễn Thị finished first in 10:33:12 . She finished une heure et 8 minutes 55 secondes ahead of Thuy Dung Nguyen. Toshie Noda got the third place in 11:47:27.

 Sản Phạm Tiên won the race with a time of 01:51:55. Coming in second was Hùng Nguyễn Tiến (01:58:40). Văn Chuyền Nông got the third place in 02:07:48. 
 In the ladies race,  it was Hồng Lệ Phạm Thị (02:28:03) taking the top spot, ahead of Hằng Lê Thẩm Thúy (02:37:43). While Tanya Lee-parker came in third at 02:46:27
