Antony Kimutai wins Stramilano Half Marathon

 Vincent Kibor Raimoi finished first in 01:00:10. Jairus Kipchoge Birech earned runner-up honours with a time of 01:00:33. Rounding out the top three was Paul Tiongik with a time of 01:02:07. 
 For the women,  Priscah Jeptoo took top spot in 01:08:27 , ahead of Meseret Dinke Meleka (01:10:39). The third place went to Lucy Wambui Murigi with a time of 01:11:45

Asefa wins Stramilano Half Marathon

Ethiopia's Sutume Asefa Kebede Wins Stramilano Half Marathon

 Frederick Oncocke Moronga finished the half marathon first in 01:01:20. Coming in second was Aziz Mustapha El (01:01:29). The third place went to Simon Kiruthi Muthoni with a time of 01:01:34 
 For the women,  Ruth Chepngetich got a win, finishing with a time of 01:07:42 . She bested Betty Williams Lempus who crossed the finish line one minute 43 seconds behind her. Finishing third was Pauline Nagaroi Esikon (01:11:21).

Results 2017: Stramilano Run Generation

 Half Marathon results 
 Of more than 6,000 participants in the 45th Stramilano Half Marathon, James Mwanji Wangari (59:12) was the only one to finish the IAAF run in northern Italy in under an hour. 
His mark of 59:12 was good for seventh all-time in the world. 
In a close race for second, Paul Kariuki Mwangi (1:01:31) finished just ahead of Amos Kibiwot Kurgot (1:01:56).

 For the women, it was Nguriatukei Rael Kiyara (1:10:19) coming out on top. 
Viola Jelagat earned runner-up honors with a time of 1:11:03. 
Third place was decided by less than a second with Hellen Jepkurgat (1:11:34) managing to hold off Marry Wanjohi (1:11:35). 
Jepkurgat finished fourth a year ago with a nearly identical time. 
She also took in fourth in 2014.
