About the event

The Wizz Air Milano Marathon is Italy’s fastest marathon and a major event on the European spring race calendar. The race attracts over 13,000 runners to a course that blends performance and spectacle. The looped, IAAF-certified route starts and finishes at Piazza del Duomo, taking athletes through the heart of Milan with a mix of historic and modern scenery. With a generous 6h 30′ time limit, 10 refreshment stations, and high crowd energy, the course supports both elites and amateurs chasing a personal best. Participants receive a premium race kit, including a finisher’s medal, technical t-shirt, and a Wizz Air voucher. A three-day Running Festival at the event expo adds to the momentum, turning Milan into a hub of sport and culture for an entire weekend.
