Join the festive endurance event featuring a Half Marathon and a 5K race where participants are encouraged to wear costumes. The race takes place through scenic areas, including Emigration Canyon and Salt Lake City, offering a fun Halloween-themed running experience. A Kid’s Run is also available for children under 12. Participants can enjoy additional Halloween festivities and a second weekend of running events in Provo.

Results: Hales, Hoffman takes top honors in SLC Haunted Half

Half Marathon results Brett Hales (1:05:26.1) bested roughly 1,350 runners to win the SLC Haunted Half Marathon in Utah. Started in 2012, the run works its way down Emigration Canyon, past the University of Utah and south into the city. Sam Starbuck earned runner-up honors with a time of 1:13:18.0. Ryan Achatz (1:16:28.1) rounded out. For the women, it was Natasha Hoffman (1:21:46.2) notching the victory. Sara Mickelson (1:25:33.7) managed to hold off Mimi Sinclair (1:25:53.8) for second.
