Sunshine Coast Marathon Festival

The Sunshine Coast Marathon & Community Run Festival is a premier running event held in Queensland's stunning Sunshine Coast. Internationally recognized for its scenic course and vibrant atmosphere, the festival has also made a significant social impact, raising over $1.6 million for charities and community groups since its inception. Designed to make the most of ideal winter running conditions, the event features mild temperatures, low humidity, and clear skies—perfect for runners of all levels. Race options include a Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km, and a 2km fun run, ensuring inclusivity for all ages and abilities. The scenic course runs along the Alexandra Headland coastline, offering spectacular views of golden beaches and the Pacific Ocean. The Half Marathon is a single-loop course, while the Marathon is composed of one 21km loop and two 10.5km loops—maximizing opportunities for on-course entertainment and crowd support.
