Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon

The Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon takes place along the scenic Southern Bypass with views of the Nairobi National Park. As Kenya’s largest single-day sporting event, the marathon draws 25,000 runners from across the globe. Seven race categories are offered, for example: 42 km, 21 km, 10 km, 21 km wheelchair race, 5 km Family Fun Run. In collaboration with Athletics Kenya, the event earned the prestigious World Athletics Road Race Label, signifying adherence to elite global standards in race organization, anti-doping, medical support, and sustainability. Satellite races are also held, expanding the event's reach and access across Kenya.
