Santa Barbara Wine Country

The Santa Barbara Wine Country Half Marathon is a standout spring race that fuses athletic challenge with wine country elegance. The race offers a scenic 13.1-mile route through California’s Santa Ynez Valley, passing vineyards, horse ranches, and the historic towns of Santa Ynez, Los Olivos, and Solvang. Runners finish in the heart of Solvang, where the post-race Wine & Music Festival in Solvang Park awaits with tastings from over a dozen local wineries, live music, and gourmet bites. Participants can also choose a two-person relay, and larger teams are encouraged. This is not just a race—it’s a full weekend celebration set against rolling hills, oak groves, and warm spring skies.
