Runnin' of the Green presented by the YMCA of Greater Rochester

Runnin' of The Green is Rochester's unofficial start to the racing season, featuring an out-and-back course along the Genesee River. Participants can choose to run in person or virtually. Hosted by the YMCA of Greater Rochester and UR Medicine, the event offers a race medal for the first 2,000 registrants, a long sleeve shirt, and themed post-race snacks and beverages. A post-race party at The Mercantile includes live music and games. Participants also benefit from a complementary bag drop, with additional food and beverages available for purchase. No registration fees are required.
