Leavenworth Marathon

The Leavenworth Marathon is a certified Boston Qualifier offering a uniquely scenic and moderately fast course through Washington’s Cascade Mountains. Starting in the remote beauty of Icicle Canyon, marathoners navigate a two-loop route combining paved roads, forested trails, and dirt sections along the Wenatchee River. Half marathoners begin in downtown Leavenworth, running directly through the heart of the village before merging with the full course. Runners pass through alpine wilderness, cross river bridges, and finish at the Enchantment Park Event Center—surrounded by cheering crowds, music, and the Bavarian-themed celebration of race day. The event is produced by TedDriven, with proceeds supporting cancer research. The race blends athletic challenge with local spirit and community partnership.
