About the event

The Semi de Cannes is a flat, fast, and officially certified coastal race that takes runners along the sparkling Mediterranean shoreline of the French Riviera. With three distances - 21.1 km, 10 km, and 5 km - this event attracts a wide range of runners, from competitive athletes aiming for French Championship qualification to casual participants looking for a scenic run. The half marathon starts in front of the famous steps of the Palais des Festivals and finishes at the Esplanade de la Pantiéro on the old port. The fully closed course ensures safe, uninterrupted racing with chip timing, video checkpoints, and regular support stations at 5, 10, 15 km, and the finish. The race-day includes live entertainment and local crowds lining the route.

Highlights

The flat, fully closed-to-traffic course makes this an excellent race for personal bests and championship qualification.

The start and finish line locations—at the Palais des Festivals and the old port—offer iconic backdrops that few races can match.

Runners are offered a true Riviera-style racing experience.
