Block Island Half Marathon

This half marathon kicks off and concludes at the Fred Benson Town Beach Pavilion. Start with a flat stretch heading north, transitioning into a gentle ascent leading to steeper hills and turns. Expect scenic views of the Great Salt Pond, beach dunes, The North Lighthouse, and more.

Upon reaching the North Light, gear up for a challenging loop around the picturesque west side of the island, featuring numerous hills and turns. You'll be running past rolling pastures, stone walls, farmhouses, with the magnificent blue Atlantic Ocean as your backdrop.

The final stretch takes you down Airport Hill, returning you to the Pavilion.
