Amway River Bank Run

The Amway River Bank Run, held annually in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, is a major event in endurance sports. It includes the USA 25 km Open Championships, handcycle and wheelchair races, and various running and walking events. Additionally, participants can engage in virtual races, offering flexibility by allowing distance completion at any location throughout May. Initially known as the Old Kent River Bank Run, the event was renamed after a sponsorship change and is now organized by Riverbank Events and Media. Celebrating its long history, the race continues to be a significant gathering for athletes every second Saturday of May.
