Zacks Place Thanksgiving Turkey Trot

The Zack's Place Turkey Trot is an annual 5K run and walk held in Woodstock to support Zack's Place programs. Established in 2007, the event has grown significantly, with participants raising substantial funds. The race, held on Thanksgiving Day, starts at Woodstock Elementary School and follows a scenic route through historic Woodstock. Participants include families, college students, and distant "satellite participants" who join the event from afar. Restrictions include no pets allowed. Parking is available at various locations around Woodstock, but not around the Village Green. The event features live music and refreshments.
