White Deer Triathlon

The White Deer Triathlon is an endurance event that features a canoe/kayak/stand-up paddleboard segment on Boulder Lake, a biking course on Boulder Junction's rustic roads, and a running course along scenic county roads and forest trails. There are no separate divisions for watercraft choices, although kayaks with pedals incur a time penalty. Participants compete individually or in a 3-person relay, with awards given to the top performers in various age categories. All finishers receive a participation medal. The event has a time limit, and participants must adhere to officials' instructions to avoid disqualification.
