Walk In Our Boots 5k - OH

The Gahanna American Legion Post 797 hosts the “Walk In Our Boots” Walk/Run, a fundraising event to support formerly homeless veterans in becoming self-sustaining members of the community. The initiative aims to assist veterans in re-acclimating to civilian life by providing support in home establishment and workforce re-entry. Participants can join an existing team or create a new one, with incentives such as shirts for early registrants and trophies for the largest teams. The event takes place at Veterans Memorial Park at Creekside and includes onsite registration and race preparation.
