VBC / Cycle & Sip - NY

Gear up for the 11th Annual VBC / Cycle & Sip Century Ride weekend, a top-notch cycling event in northern New York. Conquer the beautifully challenging route to the northern edge of the Adirondack Park, which offers a moderate climb and stretches along the picturesque shores of Historic Lake Champlain. Rest assured, top-tier support awaits with several SAG vehicles ready to assist along the entire course, rest stops loaded with snacks and drinks, and a lunch break at the halfway point where you can choose to cap your ride at 55 miles or push on to complete 101.5 miles.This year, instead of a cycling jersey, participants gain access to an exciting party zone featuring free craft beer, live music by All Without the Bass, and lawn games. Wear your favorite cycling gear—perhaps a past VBC jersey or one you want to show off. Don't forget to pack an extra jersey for the second-day ride known as Frank's Ride, which covers 67 miles around Lake Champlain. This ride extends north along the scenic lakeshore to the Canadian border, crosses into Vermont, stops for lunch at North Hero VT's Heros Welcome, and concludes back at Valcour Brewing.

Whether you’re a veteran or new to the VBC ride, it's a weekend filled with camaraderie and amazing cycling experiences. This event is a hidden gem in upstate NY and the New England area, attracting cyclists from across the nation, including California, Minnesota, Florida, and Virginia. Keep the ride intimate and oriented towards supporting a good cause by raising funds for charities such as the National MS Society, Tour De Force, Rottie Empire Rescue, and the local North Country Veterans Association.
