Västerås Run

The Västerås Run Trail offers a race experience like no other, beginning not on land, but from a boat. Participants board in Västerås harbor and are dropped off at the jetty in Geddeholm, where the trail run officially begins. From there, runners take on a scenic and diverse route through the forests and countryside of Geddeholm, gradually transitioning onto smoother, faster roads as they make their way back to Västerås. Held alongside the Västerås Swimrun, this event adds an element of surprise and camaraderie—you might just cross paths with neoprene-clad athletes navigating their endurance challenge. The atmosphere is friendly and inclusive, designed to give every participant a memorable multisport day. Your entry includes boat transfer to the start, post-race food, sauna access, and a well-marked route through some of the region’s most beautiful terrain.
