Valentine's Day 5k

The Valentine's Day 5K originated in the 1980s as the "Serendipity Run" and later became part of the Arkansas RRCA Grand Prix Series in the early 1990s. Known for its inclusive spirit, the event offers a unique Sweetheart Competition, allowing participants to partner with a spouse or friend for a chance at additional prizes. It takes place at Russellville Junior High School, offering options for both solo and pair runs. Whether competing individually or as sweethearts, participants enjoy a blend of competition and camaraderie. The course has seen remarkable performances, including records set by Wayne Stanley and Leah Thorvilson.
