Ultra NORWAY Race

The Ultra NORWAY Race is an Arctic ultra-distance challenge set 350 km north of the Arctic Circle. Starting in the rugged Lyngen Alps and finishing on the Tromsø waterfront, the 125 km (with 7,000 m of ascent and descent) route takes runners through dramatic fjords, steep mountain passes, and wild northern landscapes. Competitors race non-stop, solo or in teams of two, carrying all food and mandatory equipment in full self-sufficiency. The course is GPS-tracked with regular checkpoints, and runners must meet strict cut-off times to continue within the 48-hour limit. The final kilometers pass the Arctic Cathedral and cross the Tromsø Bridge under the midnight sun, offering a spectacular finish in one of the world’s most unique racing environments.
