Trailhead 5k

The Trailhead 5K is a hybrid running event combining road and trail segments. The course features paved greenway and scenic singletrack trails winding through Hickory Cove Nature Preserve. Participants will experience a mix of smooth pavement and shaded sections, concluding with a fast, flat finish. Designed for all fitness levels, from seasoned trail runners to first-timers, this event offers an accessible challenge. It emphasizes nature and community, and family participation is encouraged. Proceeds from the race support the Land Trust of North Alabama.
