“To finish is to win." - Josh BillingsGear up for the 48th Great Josh Billings Runaground, a thrilling triathlon that tests the mettle of dedicated athletes. Starting at Barrington Plaza in Great Barrington, MA, this event kicks off at 8:30 AM, challenging participants with a multi-discipline course that invites both seasoned triathletes and adventurous newcomers.

Begin with a 27-mile bicycle leg that winds through the scenic landscapes of Alford, West Stockbridge, and Stockbridge, culminating at the Stockbridge boat ramp on Route 183. Here, the adventure shifts to the paddle leg, encompassing a 5-mile loop around Lake Mah-kee-nac/Stockbridge Bowl, where canoes, kayaks, surf skis, and stand-up paddleboards propel competitors forward. Transitioning to the shores of Camp Mah-Kee-Nac, runners will tackle a 10k leg, sprinting to the finish line at the iconic Main Gate of Tanglewood in Lenox.

Celebrate your achievements at "The Bash," the lively after-party and awards ceremony near the finish line at Tanglewood, where the Kids Race also takes place. With 29 competitive categories for Teams, Tin competitors, and Iron competitors, there's a place for everyone eager to push their limits.
