The Florida Run @ Lake Louisa State Park

The Florida Run at Lake Louisa State Park celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2025 with a 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon through one of Central Florida’s most scenic natural landscapes. The course takes runners across pine forests, shaded oak canopies, rolling meadows, and along tranquil lakeshores, offering a mix of terrains that keep the race engaging from start to finish. With chip timing, aid stations every two miles, and post-race food at the finish, the event is organized with both comfort and performance in mind. All finishers receive a commemorative medal, and awards are presented in multiple categories, including team divisions and the popular Civil Servant Competition. The family-friendly atmosphere makes this not just a trail race but a community celebration of fitness, nature, and camaraderie.
