The DAM 8

The DeRuyter area hosts three road races, including the DAM8, featuring various running events. Distinctive routes are shared across multiple counties, with the marathon courses incorporating challenging sections like the "heartbreak hill." Different starting and finishing points add variety to the events. The area also features Highland Forest, one of the largest county parks, providing a picturesque backdrop for the races.
