The Classic Fun Run Presented By American Diabetes Association

The Classic Fun Run Presented By the American Diabetes AssociationJoin fellow athletes at the American Diabetes Association's 2 Mile Walk/Run event along Birmingham's City Walk path. This race, in partnership with the Magic City Classic, welcomes participants of all abilities and is a fantastic opportunity to test your stamina on a short, yet engaging course.

All registered participants will receive an event t-shirt (sizes from Small to XX-Large, subject to availability), a Bib number, and a swag bag to commemorate the event.

**Pre-Race Packet Pickup and In-Person Registration:** Visit Trak Shak in Homewood at 2839 18th St South, Homewood, AL 35209 to get your packet.

**Race Day Packet Pickup and In-Person Registration:** Arrive early at City Walk Birmingham, located at the corner of 15th St. North and 9th Ave. North, Birmingham, AL. Registration opens at 6:30 am and closes at 7:45 am. The race kicks off at 8:00 am with post-race festivities beginning at 8:30 am.

The race follows the "Red" City Walk path, starting at 15th St. North and 9th Ave. North, then advancing to the Kid's area at 25th St. North, before returning to the starting point. The complete route measures approximately 2 miles.

Parking is offered in two gravel parking lots near the start, and street parking is accessible via the ParkMobile app. Ensure the app is downloaded and ready for use prior to race day.

Remember to wear your Bib number on the front of your shirt to ensure you’re a registered participant, as running without registration is not allowed. All proceeds benefit the American Diabetes Association.

Bringing a pet? They're welcome! Please keep them on a leash and clean up after them. If running with a stroller, start from the back to ensure everyone's safety.

Note that this event will proceed rain or shine, with no refunds. If changes are necessary, adjustments can be made through your RunSignUp.com account before the cutoff date.
