Tekau's Heart Memorial 5K Run/1 Mile Walk

The Tekau’s Heart Memorial Run/Walk is an event held in memory of Tekau Rasayon, a high school student who passed away from an anomalous coronary artery. The event aims to raise awareness about heart conditions in teens and young adults and to honor Tekau's legacy as a leader and role model. Proceeds support a memorial scholarship for college-bound seniors and heart health initiatives. Tekau was an active senior at Surrattsville High School, serving as Vice President of her class and a Cadet Colonel in the Air Force JROTC, known for her leadership and kindness.
