Swamp Forest Trail Race

The Swamp Forest Trail Run, organized by the Gulf Winds Track Club, takes place at Elinor Klapp-Phipps Park. This annual event features varied trail terrain, including sections near swamps, ponds, and forests with diverse flora and fauna. Participants can choose different race lengths on a course featuring the Swamp Forest, Coon Bottom, and Oak Hammock loops, among others. The event is capped at 150 runners, with a five-hour limit to complete the longest distance. Early registration is recommended, especially to secure a race shirt, as there's a specific deadline for guaranteed shirt availability.
