Survivor Day 5K - Island Heights, NJ

Participants run or walk in memory of Christian Schenk, honoring the enduring legacy of Anthony “Butchie” Kurnel III, a beloved community figure and police lieutenant, remembered for his laughter, dedication to family, and community service. The event serves as a reminder of the enduring impact of loss and the importance of community support for surviving families, while bolstering awareness around mental health.
