About the event
The event is a community race supporting the Edgerley Family South Boston Boys & Girls Club's youth and teen programs. Participants run along a famous parade route, starting and ending at the Boys & Girls Club, and the event features performances by local kids and teens. This race is a crucial fundraiser and has been a South Boston tradition since 1940. Participants are encouraged to join in supporting the Keystone Teen Leadership Program.
