South Metro SWAT 5k and Fun Run

A community run and walk event is held to support the South Metro SWAT Team. Participants, including members of the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office, Moore Police, Norman Police, Norman Fire, and Norman Regional EMSTAT, gather at Legacy Park in Norman, OK. The event offers a timed race and an untimed fun run/walk on a flat course. Proceeds benefit the South Metro SWAT Team, providing funding for uniforms, equipment, and training. All participants receive a commemorative item, and first-place age group finishers in the timed race earn custom medals.
