Showdown at Sundance Mountain Resort

Join Salamander Racing for an exhilarating start to the Utah Gravity Series at the Showdown at Sundance Mountain Resort. This downhill mountain bike race promises a thrilling and challenging course that combines the best elements of previous tracks with exciting new sections. Experience the rush of flow trails, steep technical singletrack, and high-speed fire roads as you race from the Outlaw Lift summit.The race features a 1-run format with staggered 1-minute intervals, limited to 160 entrants. Be ready early at the Start Gate, as missing your start time means no timed run. Downhill categories begin with Cat 2 and 3 racers at 11:00 a.m., followed by Cat 1 and Pro.

Get the full track experience with course inspection available the day before the race. Note that lift passes are not included in the race entry fee and must be purchased separately online with a special discount for racers. Awards and medals will recognize top performers, with a chance for all to win prizes in a post-race raffle.

Register online or via mail to secure your spot, with early registration fees set at $85 for the downhill race. On-site registration is available with an additional fee. All racers must hold a USA Cycling Race Membership, with licenses available for purchase.
