Seoul Shinmun Half Marathon

The Seoul Shinmun Half Marathon offers runners a unique urban course through World Cup Park and along the Han River, attracting over 10,000 participants annually. The half marathon route starts at Peace Plaza, loops near Gayang Bridge twice, and returns via the World Cup Bridge ramp. The event also features 5K and 10K options: the 5K course is a gentle loop around World Cup Park popular with families and couples, while the 10K includes some uphill sections to challenge runners. Crossing the usually busy Gayang Bridge on foot provides a rare experience of running above the Han River.
