Running Is For The Birds

Amigos De Bolsa Chica, in partnership with Bolsa Chica State Beach, is organizing a run/walk/beach cleanup event. Participants can engage in activities such as running or walking, with an option for plogging, which combines jogging with litter collection. Proceeds support the nonprofit Amigos de Bolsa Chica's environmental education efforts. The event also features a family-friendly expo with educational demonstrations about local wetlands and wildlife protection. Various race categories include timing and finishers receive participation medals. Free parking is available for attendees who arrive early.
