Run to Remember - Edenton

The "Run to Remember" is an annual event that commemorates those affected by Alzheimer's disease or dementia and raises funds for family caregivers in Northeast North Carolina. The event supports caregivers by providing respite care, allowing them time for personal needs. Organized by the Albemarle Commission Area Agency on Aging, the initiative benefits caregivers in specific counties by mitigating some caregiving challenges. The event includes a 5K run, a fun run, and a virtual participation option. Awards are given for top performances in various age categories. Participants may also receive sponsor giveaways.
