Radyr Trail Races

The Radyr Trail Half Marathon and Trail Marathon are endurance events starting in Cardiff and quickly moving into scenic countryside. Participants experience mountain views, woodlands, ancient forests, and nature reserves, with routes passing landmarks like Garth Mountain and Castell Coch woods. The courses are fully marked and include checkpoints, but some navigation skills may be needed. The events traverse several sites of scientific interest and feature significant elevation gain, offering challenging terrain described as both beautiful and demanding. Generous cut-off times are provided, and proceeds support local charities as part of the Radyr and Morganstown Festival.
