PVTC Christmas Caper 5K and 10K

Get ready for an exhilarating experience at East Potomac Park! With online registration closing soon, make sure you're all set to hit the track. On race day, pick up your packet from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM, as there's no on-site registration available. Choose from a flat, walker- and wheelchair-friendly course with one or two out-and-back segments on paved roads. Both the 5K and 10K races host about 100 participants each, and you must finish by 9:30 AM. Remember, it's one race per person!

For the 5K, gather under the start/finish banner 200 feet south of the East Potomac Park Golf Course entrance. At 8:00 AM, after the National Anthem and instructions at 7:52 AM, take off on a scenic route around Hains Point and back to the finish line.

The 10K kicks off at 8:10 AM, beginning north of the start/finish banner. After pre-race instructions, race through a similar path, completing two laps to the finish.

Celebrate your achievements with Christmas ornaments for the top finishers in various age categories, including race walkers. Keep warm post-race with refreshments.
