Get ready to tackle the terrain at Pedal the Petrified, an exhilarating cycling tour set against the backdrop of the Petrified Forest National Park. This exclusive event, organized by Northland Pioneer College Friends & Family, invites a limited number of 250 athletes to experience inspiring routes suitable for all skill levels. Test your endurance with options for both Metric Century (100 km/63 miles round trip) and Metric Half-Century (50 km/31 miles one-way) routes, complete with well-supplied stops every five miles. Immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring views of the Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert, making for an unforgettable ride.Your participation supports a greater cause—raising funds for student scholarships at Northland Pioneer College, the sole community college serving Navajo and Apache counties in northeastern Arizona. Participants are encouraged to create sponsorship pages to maximize contributions, with a collective goal of raising $50,000. For those who secure at least $500 in sponsorships, a special Pedal the Petrified jersey awaits.

Ensure to adhere to all event regulations, including the mandatory use of bike helmets and compliance with all park traffic laws. Remember, safety and preparation for weather conditions are paramount, as the ride proceeds regardless of the elements.
