About the event

The ORRRC Xenia Marathon, Half-Marathon, and 10K offer scenic courses through Xenia, Ohio, featuring a start and finish at the Xenia YMCA. Participants navigate through downtown and various neighborhoods, including a section on a rail-trail. The event is a certified Boston Qualifier and supports the ORRRC’s mission to promote running in the Miami Valley and Dayton area. Proceeds aid youth running programs and scholarships. Participants can opt out of a race shirt for a registration discount. Post-race amenities include food and beverages.

Results 2018: ORRRC Marathon & Half Marathon

Credit : Xenia Word Marathon Paolo Roncallo outran roughly 219 runners to win with a time of 02:45:42, followed by Harvey Lewis who finished with a time of 02:50:50. Rounding out the top three was Austin Szekacs with a time of 02:50:56. In the women’s race, Alexandra Brown took top honours by finishing the race in 02:55:22 , followed by Katie Draper who finished with a time of 03:20:50. Rounding out the top three was Vicki Gundrum with a time of 03:21:07. Adam Thomas (01:13:14) made notched third place. In the ladies race, Carol Bennett took top spot in 00:19:17 . She bested Ann Alyanak who crossed the finish line 58 minutes 26 secondes behind her. Finishing third was Christina Johnston (01:24:38).
