Olga Memorial Footrace

The Olga Memorial Footrace, a longstanding summer event in Saranac Lake, features runs and a walk to benefit the Saranac Lake Youth Center and the Rotary Club's Literacy Program. The event aims to raise funds for youth programming and literacy initiatives. Participants receive a t-shirt and a runner's bag, with awards given to top finishers. The race course is mostly flat, circling Moody Pond and Lake Flower. Proceeds from the event support community projects, including the Riverwalk, Girl Scouts, and the Skatepark. Refreshments and water stations are available along the course.
