Northwoods Gravel Grind

Athletes, get ready to challenge your endurance and skills in Western Maine's premier Gravel Grind event. This exhilarating ride covers 35 miles or more through stunning scenery on private, gated roads and trails. Prepare for rugged, hilly terrain as you take in the fresh air and breathtaking views of wildlife and foliage.The course route is still being finalized, but rest assured, it will push your limits. Rest stops are strategically placed throughout the route, offering water, energy bars, and a moment to recharge before tackling the next segment.

As you cross the finish line, head to Saddleback where you'll find food, prizes, and the camaraderie of fellow cyclists sharing race stories. Prizes await the top three men and women in each category, featuring a mix of local swag and unique hand-crafted items.

Remember, this race happens rain or shine. Helmets are mandatory, and the challenging course with its several hills is not for beginners. All participants must sign a waiver, and category changes can be made on the day. The remote nature of the course means limited support, so pack essentials for your race day needs.
