MTC (Mount to Coast) Scotia

The Mount to Coast Scotia is a 370-mile (595 km) ultra-distance stage race crossing the length of Scotland from Gretna Green to John O’Groats over nine consecutive days. Part of the Mount to Coast End to End Challenge Series, this event is designed for experienced endurance athletes ready to average 41 miles (66 km) per day through changing Scottish landscapes—from lowland villages to rugged Highlands. Each day ends with hotel accommodation and all meals provided, allowing runners to recover properly while receiving full on-course support. The route passes through notable Scottish towns including Edinburgh, Perth, Inverness, and Dornoch, offering both natural and cultural immersion. With detailed planning and no camping required, the Scotia balances logistical ease with a serious physical challenge. Participants receive exclusive mapping and GPX data four weeks before the event to maintain the integrity of the route and ensure fair competition.
