Mntwi l Nłʔay Virtual Half Marathon

Run Wild Missoula offers a virtual half marathon with all proceeds supporting All Nations Health Center to foster understanding and support for local Indigenous communities. The event name, Mntwi l Nłʔay, was provided by the Séliš-Ql̓ispé Culture Committee of the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes and translates to “Running-in-Place-of-Small-Bull-Trout (Missoula).” Participants complete and record their mileage independently and receive a custom medal, a beanie, and a training plan. The event acknowledges the Salish and Kalispel homelands and aims to promote respect for Indigenous history and culture.
