McElveen Race For The ARK

The McElveen Race for The ARK is an annual event in Downtown Summerville supporting families affected by Alzheimer's and related dementia. Participants can join a 5K run/walk or a 1-mile fun run, both starting and ending at St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Awards are given to top performers, and businesses can enter teams in the Corporate Challenge for a chance to win a traveling trophy. Registration fees vary, and corporate teams have additional promotional opportunities. The event includes USATF-certified courses and is held rain or shine.
