The Curtatone e Montanara Marathon takes place on flat terrain through the Mantuan plains, following routes connected to significant 1848 battle sites. Supported by the Lombardy Region, the event includes separate waves for elite and recreational participants, with historical markers highlighting key locations along the course. A "History Relay" option enables teams to run segments associated with important battle milestones.
