Long Branch Ocean Mile Swim

The Long Branch Ocean Mile Swim is an annual endurance swimming event based in Pier Village, Long Branch, NJ. The race follows a rectangular course with both the start and finish in Pier Village. Participants must pre-register as there is no race day registration. The event implements a cut-off time, requiring all racers to finish within a specified duration after the start. Competitors wearing wetsuits are not eligible for awards. Custom awards are given to the top overall finishers and various age categories. Brian Shea, an experienced endurance sports coach, is the event organizer.
