Legends Never Die 5K

The Legends Never Die 5K is organized by the Madeira Beach Fire Department to raise awareness about mental health, PTSD, and suicide among first responders, veterans, and active military personnel. This chip-timed beach run/walk aims to support those affected and reduce stigmas surrounding mental health issues. Proceeds benefit The Franciscan Center's First Responders Post Trauma Training Program. The event honors Firefighter Emilio Rivera, Marine Col. Jim Turner, and others. Registration is limited to 500 participants, and entry fees are non-refundable. Awards are given for top overall male and female finishers.
