Judy M. Merritt Memorial 5K & Family Fun Day

The annual Judy M. Merritt Memorial 5K honors Jefferson State Community College’s former president, Dr. Judy M. Merritt. Proceeds support scholarships for students. Participants can enjoy activities like face painting, DJ music, and various treats. Awards will be given to top male and female runners in several age categories. A virtual challenge option is available for those unable to attend. Participants receive a swag bag with a race day shirt. The event takes place at Veterans Park in Birmingham, AL, with packet pickup available prior to and on the race day.
