Hoosiers Outrun Cancer

Hoosiers Outrun Cancer is a longstanding 5K run/walk event on Indiana University's campus. It offers awards for top finishers in the 5K and 1 Mile categories for men, women, and youth. A virtual participation option is available, with race shirts mailed to these participants. Since 1999, it has raised over $4 million to support cancer-impacted individuals in south central Indiana, funding the Cancer Support Community in Bloomington. This organization provides free services such as counseling, support groups, therapy classes, and financial aid to cancer patients, survivors, and their families.
