Hegewisch Community Center: Wolf Lake 5k

The event begins at the Hegewisch Community Center and includes a scenic route through the William Powers Conservation Area at Wolf Lake. Participants return to the Community Center, where the Hegewisch Farmers Market is available. There is also a "First Responders Challenge" honoring Police, Fire, and EMT personnel, with medals awarded to the fastest among them. Each participant receives a commemorative race T-shirt and goody bag.
