Hearts of Gold Classic 5K Run/Walk Project Compassion

The event at Ben Geren Regional Park in Fort Smith celebrates the life of Dr. Eric J. Stein while supporting Project Compassion's Hearts of Gold Christmas gifts program for Nursing Home residents without family or friends. Participants can enjoy the festive atmosphere by wearing Santa hats, reindeer antlers, or ugly sweaters. Timed by Jaymax Race Timing, the event offers medals for top performers and finisher medals. It encourages donations of new, non-skid socks for nursing home residents, honoring Dr. Stein's legacy of compassion and advocacy for the elderly and pets.
