GII's Backyard Boogie Race

GII's Backyard Boogie Race (BYB) will take place at Melford Blvd, Bowie, MD. Registration fees are $40 for adults, $25 for Juniors, and free for kids. The second race registration is $10 when done along with the first. Masters Races are open for licensed Category 1-4 racers. Online registration will have a 6.25% fee plus a $1.25 Mid-Atlantic Bicycle Racing Association (MABRA) fee. Day-of registration will incur an additional $10 for adults and $5 for juniors, and must be completed online at the Bikereg website. Licenses are mandatory for all category racers, with options for annual, Citizen (one-day), and free Junior licenses available. The race course is just under 2km long, clockwise from Melford Blvd, to Science Dr and to Curie Dr. Parking will be provided at the office buildings on Melford Blvd. No alcohol will be permitted on the premises, and all cyclists must wear helmets. The race will proceed regardless of weather conditions.
